STORY

I’VE ALWAYS TRAVELLED FOR ADVENTURE.

A lot of kit. A lot to remember.

Whether it’s scuba diving, mountain biking, skiing or chasing the next adventure, travelling with kit means one thing: there’s a lot to remember.

THE HABIT

LAY THE WHOLE TRIP OUT IN FRONT OF YOU.

The more kit a trip involves, the easier it is to forget something.

I’d lay everything out across the bed or floor. Clothes, dive kit, chargers, documents, toiletries, riding gear, all of it out where I could actually see what was missing.

THAT HABIT EVENTUALLY BECAME THE IDEA BEHIND PACKMAP.

Instead of one long checklist, why not give everything its own physical space? Lay the whole trip out in front of you, and the gaps become obvious.

That simple idea became PackMap.

THE FIRST PACKMAP

MADE FOR REAL TRIPS.

I wanted to create something I’d genuinely use on my own trips. A physical map that folds into your luggage, backed by live digital packing lists that can be updated as we learn more.

Beach and Snow are just the beginning. Different adventures need different kit. More PackMaps are coming.

LEARNING BY DOING

MORE THAN JUST PACKING.

PackMap can be more than a way to remember what to pack.

Inspired by my partner Rachel’s experience working with young children, I began to see how the same simple system could help children learn by doing. Making choices, organising their belongings, following a process and taking responsibility for themselves.

Small tasks that help build confidence and independence from a young age.

PACKMAP WAS CREATED BECAUSE I LOVE TRAVELLING AND DOING THE THINGS THAT MAKE TRAVELLING WORTHWHILE.

I just wanted a better way to make sure everything came with me.
